9-2-16: CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY REQUIRED:
No habitation shall be so occupied until a certificate of occupancy is obtained from the building inspector, upon his finding that the habitation is in compliance with the provisions of this chapter. If the building inspector determines that there is a violation of this chapter, he shall cancel the certificate of occupancy and proceed with the enforcement thereof. (1985 Code ch. 4 § 7-17)
