§ 33.20 PURPOSE.
   (A)   In compliance with 40 C.F.R. Pts. 5 and 7, the city hereby establishes a grievance procedure (the “grievance procedure”) to ensure prompt and fair resolution of complaints alleging violations of Title VI, § 601 of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, being 42 U.S.C. § 2000d.
   (B)   The grievance procedure is intended to address allegations of discrimination on the basis of:
      (1)   Race;
      (2)   Color;
      (3)   National origin;
      (4)   Religion;
      (5)   Disability;
      (6)   Income;
      (7)   Age; or
      (8)   Gender.
   (C)   The grievance procedure provides a process for filing a timely complaint to the proper authority and describes the process that will be used to investigate and resolve the complaint.
