Capital assets below the capitalization threshold of $10,000 but warranting "control" shall be inventoried at the department level and an appointment list shall be maintained. Items below the capitalization threshold but warranting control may include, for example, weapons, radios, personal computers, printers, fax machines and power tools. The Clerk-Treasurer shall determine the appropriate means, level of detail data, and the system of inventory to be used. The Clerk-Treasurer may request copies of the inventories from the various departments as to periodically review the information and ensure compliance with city policy.
