Any animal impounded under the terms of this ordinance may reclaim. Their animal from the agent of the City of Jasonville. Fees of impoundment will be paid upon claiming their animal.
(A) First time offense will be $25 with an additional $10 to the agent of the city.
(B) Second time offense will be $35 with an additional $10 to the agent of the city.
(C) Third time offense will be $45 with an additional $10 to the agent of the city.
(D) All offenses after will continue to increase $10 in reclaim fee and will require $10 to the agent of the city with each reclaim.
(E) Special note in reference to surrendering an animal. Any animal that is impounded three times shall be considered to be intentionally allowing the animal to run at large, unless owner can show proof the animal broke free and incident was not intentional.
