(A) Pursuant to I.C. 9-21-1-3 and I.C. 14-16-1, respectively, this subchapter is established to regulate the use of golf carts, riding mowers and ORVs on roads, highways and alleys under the jurisdiction of the city.
(B) Pursuant to I.C. 9-21-1-3, the city will erect signage consistent with applicable law to give notice of golf cart usage on the highway(s) under the jurisdiction of the city. Until this section is complied with, no permit shall be issued.
(C) I.C. 14-16-1, which regulates the use, operation, registration and permitting of ORVs under Indiana state law, hereby is incorporated by reference and shall be fully applicable to all ORVs owned and operated within the city.
