It shall be the duty of the city's enforcement authority (the "Enforcement Authority"), which currently consists of the Chiefs of the City's Fire Department and Police Department, to investigate any alleged violations of this chapter, and upon determining that a violation has occurred, to cause the abatement of such nuisance by following the procedures provided for in this chapter, or in any other manner as authorized by law.
