§ 91.02 OPEN BURNING.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to burn anything except waste paper or wood products within the fire limits of the city. Burning must be in a vented enclosed container with the vent to top covered with hardware screen consisting of squares no more than one-fourth inch. Burning is permitted only between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Exceptions to these restrictions require special permission by the Fire Chief, and may further require that the Fire Department stand by and assist. It will be unlawful to burn anything emitting noxious odors and fumes.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful to conduct burning during unfavorable meteorological conditions such as high winds, temperature inversions, or air stagnation. If at any time the fire creates an air pollution problem, threat to public health, nuisance, or fire hazard, the burning shall be extinguished.
