§ 31.03 ELECTION.
   (A)   Election districts. The city hereby elects to divide itself into four election districts pursuant to the authority of I.C. 36-4-6-5. The legislative body (also know as the Common Council) of the city shall be composed of four members elected from the districts herein established and one member elected at-large.

   (B)   Districts designated.
      (1)   The election districts are designated as follows:
         (a)   Ward 1 shall be composed of all that part of the city north of the centerline of Main Street;
         (b)   Ward 2 shall be composed of all that part of the city south of the centerline of Main Street and east of the centerline of Meridian Street;
         (c)   Ward 3 shall be composed of all that part of the city south of the centerline of Main Street, west of the centerline of Meridian Street, and east of the centerline of Park Street; and
         (d)   Ward 4 shall be composed of all that part of the city south of the centerline of Main Street and west of the centerline of Park Street.
      (2)   All city elections shall be based upon the subdivisions as said city into wards, as hereinabove set forth.

   (C)   Notification of the county’s Election Board. The Clerk-Treasurer shall send a certified copy of this chapter to the Secretary of the county’s Election Board and the Auditor of the county.
