§ 30.03 COMPENSATION.
   (A)   Elected officials. The annual salary of elected officials shall be established annually by ordinance.

   (B)   Other officials and employees. The Common Council shall provide reasonable compensation for the city-appointed officers and employees, such compensation to be established annually by ordinance.

   (C)   Deferred Compensation Plan.
      (1)   The Common Council hereby establishes the city’s deferred compensation plan for the voluntary participation of all eligible employees.
      (2)   The city will utilize the state’s plan document, its service manager, and its investment options.
      (3)   The city hereby appoints the Clerk-Treasurer as the administrator of the plan and authorizes the Clerk-Treasurer to make deductions from the pay of employees who voluntarily participate, and to make such other arrangements as are necessary to implement the plan. It is understood that other than the incidental expense of collecting the employee’s deferrals and other minor administrative matters, there is to be no cost to the city or contribution by the city to this plan.
