§ 70.15 MUNICIPAL INTEREST AND SCOPE.
The traffic-control devices laws and regulations of the state, including I.C. 9-21-8-41, do not specifically address or limit local traffic regulation by traffic-control devices and specific needs and interests of municipalities in regulating compliance with traffic-control devices, and, as such, it is appropriate that the city pass certain measures providing for such regulation on non-highways. The provisions of §§ 70.20, 70.21, and 70.22 shall provide the procedure for judicially enforcing traffic- control device regulation and any section of the code inconsistent therewith shall not apply to traffic- control device violations.
