§ 70.01 AUTHORITY AND DUTIES OF CITY’S POLICE DEPARTMENT.
   In addition to its other activities, it shall be the duty of the city’s Police Department to enforce the provisions of this title and all state vehicle laws applicable; to make arrests for violations; to investigate traffic accidents and make reports on standard accident report form; to maintain a system of filing records of traffic reports, warnings, and arrests; to cooperate with other officials of the city for improvement of traffic conditions; and to file an annual report with the Common Council concerning its activities in regard to traffic enforcement.
