§ 50.56 PAYMENT IN LIEU OF TAXES.
   (A)   The city’s gas utility shall pay an amount semi-annually to the city which is sufficient to compensate the civil city for the taxes due the civil city which would have been paid on the utility property were it privately owned.
   (B)   Such funds paid in lieu of taxes shall be transferred to the General Fund of the city.
