§ 50.52 CONNECTION FEES.
   (A)   A contract for service shall be made and all appropriate charges paid in advance of making the initial test of the customer’s pipes and turning on the gas service for the customer. No service connection will be turned on unless the customer’s piping and appliances pass the tests and the certificate of the installers has been properly filled out and signed. Additional tests, if required by customers due to defective pipe or connections, may be made at any time at $20 per test.
   (B)   There shall be a connection fee for locations upon real estate where no previous connections have been made of $2.10 per lineal foot of three-fourths of an inch service line required from the main, with necessary fittings, valves, meter, and regulator. The minimum connection fee will be $100.
   (C)   A meter deposit of $75 will be required for users being served. The meter deposit, less the amount of any bill owning, shall be refunded to the customer making such deposit at such time as said customer shall be disconnected from gas service. Any requests for refunds due to mistakes in billings or meter reading shall be made within five days of receiving the bill.
