All meters or other facilities and equipment furnished by, and at the expense of, the company which may at any time be on said premises shall, unless otherwise expressly provided herein, be and remain the property of the company, and the customer shall protect such property from freezing and from loss or damage, and no one who is not an agent of the company shall be permitted to remove such property or tamper therewith.
