Pursuant to S.C. Code § 56-5-710, Town Council hereby empowers the Department of Public Works to erect stop signs, no parking signs and other traffic-control devices on town streets under its jurisdiction as it may deem necessary to regulate, warn, and guide traffic using such locations and streets.
