(A) The annual salary of the Mayor and the annual salary for each Council member shall be as set by Council.
(B) No ordinance changing such salary shall become effective until the date of the commencement of the terms of Council members elected at the next general election following the change.
(C) The Mayor and Council members may also receive payment for actual expenses incurred in the performance of their official duties.
(D) This section becomes effective upon adoption, but the Mayor and members of Council shall only commence accruing salary after the municipal election of July 29, 2014.
