Charleston County declares that the Charleston County Flood Insurance Study, including the FIRMs, dated January 29, 20201, copies of which are on file in the Office of Building Inspection Services and online at charlestoncounty.org and msc.fema.gov, is hereby adopted and declared to be as fully a part of this chapter as if set forth herein. Letters of Map Change (LOMC) to these adopted maps authorized by the NFIP shall become effective immediately upon the date established by the NFIP.
(A) Lands to which this chapter applies. This chapter shall apply to all areas of special flood hazard within the jurisdiction of the Town of James Island.
