§ 32.55 PLANNING COMMISSION.
   (A)   Establishment and composition. A Planning Commission is established. It shall be composed of 9 members. (Ord. 77, 5th Series, eff. 3-13-1997)
   (B)   Duties. The Planning Commission shall serve as an advisory body to the Council in matters of directing the future physical development of the city. The Planning Commission shall, upon request of the Council, make studies, investigations and recommendations to the Council regarding matters affecting zoning, platting and public improvements. The Planning Commission shall adopt a plan and map for future development and land use and may, with the consent of the Council, prepare a Capital Improvements Program for the purpose of determining priorities and apportioning the costs of scheduled public improvements.
