§ 32.37 HOSPITAL BOARD.
   (A)   An administrative Hospital Board composed of 7 members is established for the management and operation of the City Hospital and City Medical Clinic, under the general supervision of the Council. No person who practices healing shall qualify for this Board.
   (B)   The Hospital Board shall be advisory to, and shall serve as liaison between, the City Council and the lessee/operator of the City hospital and medical clinic regarding matters affecting the City hospital and clinic and the delivery of health care services in the City; shall have such powers and duties as are generally described in the written agreement for lease of the City hospital; shall have such other powers and authority as may be delegated to it by the Council from time to time; shall elect from its members a chair person to preside at its meetings, a vice chair person to preside in the absence of the chair person, and a secretary to take and keep minutes of all meetings of the Board; shall meet monthly at a time regularly established and approved by the Council; shall meet specially at such other times and places as the Council, City Administrator, or Board chair person may request; and shall report to the Council on or before the second regular Council meeting day in each month, submitting a true copy of the minutes of the Board’s meeting(s) and such other reports as may be appropriate.
