The wards and precincts shall be limited and bounded as hereinafter set forth.
(A) Ward boundaries. The City is divided into two (2) wards. The “First Ward” is designated as all that part of the City lying northerly of, and the “Second Ward” is designated as all that part of the City lying southerly of, the following described line: commencing at the southwest corner of the northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter (NW1/4SW1/4) of Section 23 in Des Moines Township, running thence easterly along the eighth line to the quarter line; thence continuing along the eighth line to the centerline of White Street; thence easterly along the centerline of White Street to the centerline of Morrison Avenue; thence northerly along the centerline of Morrison Avenue to Sherman Street; thence easterly along the centerline of Sherman Street to Fourth Street; thence southerly along the centerline of Fourth Street to the centerline of West Ashley Street; thence easterly along the centerline of West Ashley Street and East Ashley Street, extended, to the east boundary of the City.
(B) Precinct boundaries in First Ward. The First Ward shall comprise one precinct, the boundaries of which are the First Ward boundaries.
(C) Precinct boundaries in Second Ward. The Second Ward shall comprise one precinct, the boundaries of which are the Second Ward boundaries.
