No adult oriented business shall be located, operated, or maintained except within a Planned Industrial District or a General Industrial District and not less than 500 feet from any residential zoning district boundary; from any site used for residential purposes; from any church site, school site, or day care facility; from any park which is adjacent to property zoned residential; or from any other adult oriented business. For purposes of this chapter, the distance shall be a horizontal measurement from the nearest existing residential district boundary, site used for residential purposes, church site, school site, day care site, park site, or other adult oriented business site to the nearest boundary of the proposed adult oriented business site.
