A customer occupying a building or apartment for residential and commercial purposes jointly may combine his or her residential and commercial use through 1 meter and be charged at the commercial light rate. The customer has the choice of separating the wiring and metering and taking the electric service for the portion used for domestic purposes on the residential service rate.
