For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
COMMERCIAL RATE. Applies to places of retail, wholesale or service businesses; hotels and motels; light manufacturing and retailing combined; professional and business offices; and public buildings, schools, rest homes, court house, churches, and the like.
INDUSTRIAL (LARGER USE) SERVICE. Single phase or 3 phase 60 cycle service at standard secondary voltage available to customers of the city for loads of 50 K.W. or larger and where installed transformer capacity if 50 KVA or more. Availability of service will be subject to applicable rules and regulations, but where equipment must be installed or lines extended, an additional charge may be made.
RESIDENTIAL RATE. Applies to private dwellings and rooming houses (sleeping rooms only within private residence).
