The County Library Board shall be funded by the current one-mill tax being currently received by the Jackson County Public Library, state aid which it receives quarterly, donations and voluntary contributions, and government grants or assistance and any other sources approved by the Board and not inconsistent with or in violation of Arkansas or federal law. The only county monies to be used in the operation of the Jackson County Library shall be those specifically appropriated by ordinance lawfully enacted by the Quorum Court. The members of the County Library Board shall receive no salary or other form of monetary compensation for their services and shall not be liable for acts performed by them as such Board members except as provided in A.C. § 14-14-705.
