An Illegal Dumps Control Officer,Sheriff, or other law enforcement agent, as required by law, shall prosecute by the issuance of misdemeanor criminal information through the prosecuting attorney's office, or by the issuance of a citation. Prosecutions under this section are supplemental to any other remedies available under state law, including the Litter Control Act, A.C. §§ 8-6-401 – 8-6-416.
