131.10 POLICE CHAPLAIN.
   (a)   The position of Police Chaplain shall be a voluntary position to be appointed by the Director of Public Service and Safety upon the recommendation of the Chief of Police. The Police Chaplain shall be under the supervision of the Chief of Police and shall perform the Chaplain’s duties in accordance with the rules, policy and procedures as may be adopted by the Chief from time to time.
   (b)   Any person appointed as Chaplain shall be an ordained clergyman and in good standing with their religious order.
   (c)   The Chaplain shall serve without rank or salary. The Chaplain shall serve for a term of one year or until resignation by the Chaplain or by dismissal in accordance with Ohio R.C. Section 737.12.
