No person shall deposit or leave in any public street, alley or public place or in any private place or premises any glass, broken or not broken, any metals, stones, earthenware, tacks, cinders or other substance of a nature likely to cause injury to travelers or pedestrians, or to injure any animal, or which might injure, cut or puncture any pneumatic tire.
