The duties of the Finance Director shall be as follows:
(A) The Finance Director shall be responsible for all aspects of administration, planning, directing, and supervising the operations and employees of the Finance Department, including but not limited to, accounting, fixed assets, budget preparation, annual audit, grant reporting, payroll, utility billing, accounts payable and receivables, collection, disbursement, and investment of all village funds, debt management, preparation of the annual appropriation and tax levy ordinances, labor contract analysis, and all financial reporting.
(B) The Finance Director shall aid and assist the Village Treasurer in the performance of the Village Treasurer's duties.
(C) The Finance Director shall attend all Village Board, Committee of the Whole, and various committee and staff meetings each month and shall advise the Village President and Board of Trustees and village officials and employees on all financial related matters referred to him or her or handled by the Finance Department.
(D) The Finance Director shall be the ex-officio Village Collector.
(E) The Finance Director shall perform any and all duties assigned to him or her by the Village President and Board of Trustees or by the Village Administrator.
