§ 158.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects, or refuses to comply with, or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this chapter, shall upon conviction be fined not less than $1 nor more than $500 for each offense. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense. The Building Commissioner is hereby designated and authorized to enforce this chapter.
   (B)   In the event any private residential swimming pool shall be constructed, reconstructed, altered, repaired, converted, maintained or used in violation of this chapter, the Building Commissioner, in addition to other remedies, may institute any appropriate action or proceeding to prevent the unlawful construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, conversion, maintenance or use; to prevent any illegal act, conduct, business, or use in or about the premises; or to restrain, correct, or abate the violation.
