Unobstructed walk areas not less than three feet wide shall be provided to extend entirely around the pool. The walk areas shall be constructed of impervious material, easily cleaned, and of nonslip construction. The slope of the walks shall have a definite pitch away from the pool edge. A foot-rinse unit should be available for cleaning of feet before entrance onto the pool walks.
