§ 30.109 BOND, OATH AND COMPENSATION.
   (A)   Oath. Before entering upon the duties of office, the Village Administrator shall take and subscribe the oath prescribed by the statutes of the State of Illinois in such case provided.
   (B)   Bond. Before entering upon the duties of office, the Village Administrator shall furnish a surety bond as dictated by the letter of conditions of employment. This bond shall be conditioned upon the faithful performance of the Administrator's duties. The premium for the bond shall be paid by the Village of Itasca.
   (C)   Compensation. The Village Administrator shall receive such compensation and benefits as the President and Board of Trustees shall determine by ordinance, or alternatively, have agreed to in the letter of conditions of employment. All compensation paid to the Village Administrator shall be defined by the appropriation ordinance or any separate ordinance and shall further be approved through the village's budgeting process. No compensation shall be paid to the Village Administrator in addition to that provided by ordinance, resolution or the letter of conditions of employment, except, however, the Village Administrator shall be entitled to reimbursement for any reasonable, actual expenses incurred in the performance of his or her duties. All matters subject to reimbursement must be budgeted, documented and approved by the Village President. Any non-budgeted reimbursable item must be approved by the Village President with the consent of the Village Board.
