There is hereby created the Village Tree Committee which shall consist of five members who shall be appointed by the President with the approval of the Board of Trustees. The members shall be appointed for terms of one year, to the end of the village fiscal year or until their successors have been duly appointed and qualified. One member shall be the Director of Public Works, one member shall be the Village Forester, one member shall be the Director of the Nature Center, one member shall be a member from the Itasca Garden Club, and one member shall be a Village Trustee. The members of the Committee shall serve without compensation. The Committee shall choose its own officers and make its own rules and regulations and keep minutes of its proceedings. A majority of the members shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of any business.
