§ 95.29 COST OF SUPERVISION AND INSPECTION; RETURN OF DEPOSIT.
   (A)   The cost of such supervision and inspection, and restoring the said pavement or public way shall be determined by the Superintendent of Public Works, and shall be deducted and paid into the Village Treasury from the amount deposited with the Village Clerk as hereinbefore provided.
   (B)   After completion of the work to the satisfaction of the Superintendent of Public Works, the Superintendent shall certify to the Village Treasurer the amount of any surplus remaining from the amount deposited in such case, and said surplus shall thereupon be paid over to the proper claimant. If for any reason the amount of such deposit shall be insufficient to cover the cost of such work, or if any damage shall have been done to any underground work or connections, or otherwise, which shall have caused increased expenditure, the amount of such deficiency or damage shall be certified to the Village Treasurer, who shall collect the same from the person to whom the permit was issued.
