(A) The Director of Community Development shall have the power to order all work stopped on construction, alteration or repair of buildings in the village when such work is being done in violation of village codes and ordinances. All work stopped by the Director of Community Development shall be in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Building Code of the Village of Itasca.
(B) Any person, firm or corporation who shall continue work in violation of a stop order of the Director of Community Development shall be fined as provided by ordinance.
