§ 30.091 DUTIES.
   The duties of the Director of Community Development shall be as follows:
   (A)   The Director of Community Development shall serve additionally as the Building Commissioner and have assigned to him or her the responsibilities of the Building Commissioner as stated below and within the codes and ordinances of the village.
   (B)   The Director of Community Development shall serve as the Zoning Administrator and have assigned to him or her the responsibilities of Zoning Administrator as stated within the codes and ordinances of the village.
   (C)   The Director of Community Development shall be responsible for the administration of the Department of Community Development.
   (D)   The Director of Community Development shall advise the Village President and Board of Trustees and village officials and employees on all zoning, planning, annexation and development, re-development, transportation and storm water management, building code and code-related matters referred to him or her, and shall perform such duties as are provided by law or ordinance and, in addition thereto, such other duties as from time-to-time may be imposed upon him or her by the Village President and Board of Trustees or the Village Administrator.
   (E)   The Director of Community Development shall advise the Village President and Board of Trustees and village officials and employees on economic development related matters, and shall be responsible for developing, updating and implementing the economic development plans as approved by the corporate authorities.
   (F)   The Director of Community Development shall see to the enforcement of all ordinances relating to building or zoning and the inspection of buildings and structures being constructed or altered as frequently as may be necessary to ensure compliance with village ordinances and codes.
