§ 75.15 LIMITED LOAD STREETS.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful to operate any vehicle on any street within the village when the gross weight of such vehicle, including the load, exceeds 10,000 pounds or five tons, except only as herein-after especially permitted, or exempted.
   (B)   The following types of vehicles may be operated on all village streets and roads, notwithstanding other prohibitions, or that the gross weight of such vehicles exceeds 10,000 pounds or five tons: fire trucks and public emergency vehicles; public utility vehicles which require the use of such streets in making repairs; garbage or refuse trucks making pick-ups; school buses picking up or discharging children in the area; village or park maintenance vehicles, in the performance of any public works.
   (C)   A vehicle whose gross weight is in excess of 10,000 pounds or five tons may traverse such restricted streets, only for the purpose of making a delivery or picking up a load on such restricted street, in which case the vehicle may be driven on such portion of those streets no more than the minimum distance necessary for that purpose. Use of restricted streets by vehicles over five tons for the purpose of reaching an area for off-street parking is prohibited; provided, recreational vehicles are permitted to be driven over such restricted streets no more than twice weekly to the owner's residence. With respect to large vehicles used in construction, such as Readi-Mix concrete haulers, where a delivery will be more than once per week, the operator of such vehicle shall first notify the Police Department and request the routing to be followed to the site of such deliveries, and the operator shall then follow the route so given.
   (D)   All trucks and commercial vehicles, regardless of weight, are prohibited from being operated on Bloomingdale Road, from Irving Park Road on the east, through and to the village limits on the west, excepting only such vehicles picking up or making deliveries within that area.
   (E)   (1)   Subject to division (E)(2) of this section, the following streets and roads within the village are exempt from the restrictions imposed by this section:
         (a)   1.   Devon Avenue;
            2.   Thorndale Road (new);
            3.   Arlington Heights Road;
            4.   Division Street (only from Arlington Heights Road to Walnut Street);
            5.   Walnut Street (only from Division Street to Irving Park Road);
            6.   Irving Park Road;
            7.   Rohlwing Road;
            8.   Prospect Road (only between Industrial Drive and Irving Park Road); and
            9.   Industrial Drive.
         (b)   All streets and roads east of Rohlwing Road and west of Interstate 90:
            1.   Bryn Mawr Avenue;
            2.   Hollywood Avenue;
            3.   Ardmore Avenue;
            4.   Expressway Drive; and
            5.   Thorndale Avenue (old).
         (c)   All streets and roads in the village lying west of Rohlwing Road (except Medinah Road and the west 500 feet of Crest Road), which are included as restricted streets):
            1.   Bryn Mawr Avenue;
            2.   Ardmore Avenue;
            3.   Baker Drive (part north of Milwaukee Road Tracks);
            4.   Hilltop Drive;
            5.   Thorndale Avenue (part within village limits);
            6.   Norwood Avenue;
            7.   Glenlake Avenue;
            8.   Meacham Road;
            9.   Crest Road (except West 500 feet);
      (2)   No vehicle shall traverse the streets and roads listed in this division (E) in excess of the weight limitations imposed by the state from time to time, and as recited in ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, § 15-111, and as hereafter amended.
