§ 72.02 UNATTENDED MOTOR VEHICLES.
   (A)   No person driving or in charge of a motor vehicle shall permit it to stand unattended without stopping the engine, locking the ignition, removing the key from the ignition, effectively setting the brake thereon and, when standing upon any perceptible grade, turning the front wheels to the curb or side of the highway.

   (B)   (1)   It shall be unlawful to leave any vehicle unattended on the streets of the village for more than 20 consecutive hours without prior authorization from the Chief of Police.
      (2)   Any such vehicle shall be considered an abandoned vehicle, and shall be removed by the Police Department and held as an abandoned vehicle.
