§ 56.11 CONFLICTS.
Where any facilities subject to this chapter physically conflict with the repair or maintenance of a municipal potable water line, sanitary sewer line or stormwater sewer line, it shall be the responsibility of the owner of the facility, at the owner's sole cost and expense to temporarily relocate, protect, or otherwise ameliorate the conflict in a reasonably engineered manner during the municipal repair or maintenance and within a reasonable time after written notice from the Director of Public Works or the Village Engineer to relocate, protect or otherwise ameliorate the conflict in a reasonably engineered manner. In an emergency the Director of Public Works or the Village Engineer may orally direct relocation, protection or amelioration. Any owner failing to relocate, protect, or otherwise ameliorate in conformance with this section shall reimburse the village all reasonable costs and expenses actually incurred by the village's relocation, protection or amelioration of the affected owner's facilities.
