(A) All electrical wiring and appliances hereafter installed in or attached to any building or structure or added to any existing electric wiring, within the corporate limits of the city, shall be sufficiently insulated, supported, protected free from hazards to life or property caused by overloading or short circuiting, installed in accordance with the rules, regulations and requirements of the latest edition of the National Electrical Code, and subject to the inspection and approval of the city’s Electrical Inspector.
(B) All materials, flexible cords, fittings or devices shall be of an approved type and all electrical wiring shall be maintained in accordance with the Code.
