The annual license fees or taxes to be paid to the city for the purpose of general revenue are hereinafter specified, and they are imposed upon and required of all persons, firms and corporations who shall exercise the privileges or engage in the businesses, trades, occupations and professions set out in this section designated in the city, for and during each license year from January 1 to December 31 each year, and which are as follows:

This does not apply to farm vehicles, when a trailer is attached to any truck for which license is required by this chapter, the ton capacity, or load limit of the trailer shall be added to the ton capacity of the truck in tonnage class.
