(A) When the absence or disability of the Mayor shall prevent his or her serving in the office during a national, state or local emergency, the duties and responsibilities of the Mayor shall be administered by the Mayor Pro Tempore as set forth in KRS 83A.130.
(B) If neither the Mayor nor the Mayor Pro Tempore is able to serve in the office of Mayor by reason of absence or disability, then the duties of the office of Mayor shall be assumed temporarily by a member of the City Council.
