PREFACE

This City Code of the City of Iowa City, as supplemented, contains ordinances and resolutions up to and including Ordinance 24-4920, passed February 6, 2024, and Resolution 16-258, passed August 29, 2016. Ordinances and resolutions of the City adopted after said ordinance and resolution supersede the provisions of this City Code to the extent that they are in conflict or inconsistent therewith. Consult the City office in order to ascertain whether any particular provision of the Code has been amended, superseded or repealed.
