If requested by the city, the company shall participate in a city task force to identify and utilize city generated renewable energy options, including sewage treatment gas or landfill gas available to the city. In the event that the city should at any time during the term of this franchise become an alternate energy producer of electrical energy at a municipally owned or operated facility the company shall, if requested by the city, enter into an agreement to purchase the electric energy produced from such qualifying alternate generating facility, subject to applicable statutory requirements and regulations.
