The company shall, at its cost and expense, locate and relocate its installations in, on, over or under any public street or alley in the city in such manner as the city may at any time reasonably require for the purposes of facilitating the construction, reconstruction, maintenance or repair of any public improvement of, in, or about any such street or alley, or promoting the efficient operation of any such improvement. The city may require the company to place or bury its electrical utility system components underground as consistent with company tariffs (it is the understanding of the parties that under current tariffs the company shall assume and pay as its own expense the cost of moving a line from one aboveground location to another aboveground location and the city shall reimburse the company for any additional cost occasioned by placing a facility underground).
