(a) These Subdivision Regulations are enacted pursuant to Act 288 of the Public Acts of 1967, as amended, the Subdivision Control Act of 1967. These Subdivision Regulations are intended to provide for the proper and orderly subdivision of land in the City, to provide for adequate and essential public improvements and utilities, and to promote the public health, safety and welfare.
