Pursuant to Act 146 of the Public Acts of 2000, known as the Obsolete Property Rehabilitation Act, the Common Council for the City hereby approves the creation of an Obsolete Property Rehabilitation District-#1, which provides an exemption from ad valorem property taxes to commercial property and commercial housing property provided they are located in a qualified local government unit and other conditions are met.
