230.01 ESTABLISHMENT OF DEPARTMENTS; HEADS; DUTIES AND SCOPE.

The City of Ionia shall be served by a number of departments which shall be established and monitored by ordinance. Each department shall have a head who shall report to the City Manager. From time to time the Council may find need to change the duties or scope of the departments and has the exclusive right to so do by ordinance.
