The corporate authorities or the representatives of the corporate authorities shall undertake such investigation of the fitness of any applicant for an amusement license as required by this chapter and of the statements made in and accompanying the application as the corporate authorities shall deem appropriate; provided, that a decision shall be rendered within sixty (60) days after the application for a license or its renewal is received. The license fee required under the provisions of this chapter shall be one hundred dollars ($100.00) and is to be tendered with the application for license or its renewal. (Ord. 86-293, 12-9-1986)
