Following receipt of the permit application, the receiving department (Parks Department or Police Department) shall direct the permit application to the City department as appropriate for the type of event being planned. The departmental review may include but is not limited to, planning, Code compliance, public works, parks and recreation, building inspections, police, and fire, including the Fire Marshal. Each reviewing department shall ensure an expeditious review of the permit application, excepting circumstances in which the applicant is required to provide additional information.
