§ 34.25 CASH MANAGEMENT CODE; CASH CHANGE FUND, PETTY CASH FUND.
   (A)   Cash Management Code. The purpose of this code is to provide authority for the Town Clerk- Treasurer and Water Clerk to maintain a sufficient amount of cash on hand to provide for the efficient and economical operation of their respective functions while also providing accountability for periodic review.
   (B)   Water Company Cash Change Fund. The Town Water Clerk is authorized to maintain a fund not to exceed $400, which funds shall be available for the sole and exclusive purpose of making change for water customers with respect to the payment of water company bills.
   (C)   Petty Cash Fund. The Town Clerk-Treasurer is authorized to maintain a petty cash fund not to exceed $100, which funds shall be maintained by the Clerk-Treasurer for the sole purpose of making change with respect to funds paid to or on behalf of the town or for the purpose of paying for those items incidental and necessary to the operation of the office of the Town Clerk-Treasurer as specifically budgeted and authorized by the Town Council.
